I just got my glow gauges today http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/i438-94-99-...78799QQtcZphoto
But I'm having problems with the wiring.. Yes, I read the Indiglo Gauge wiring how to in the how to section, but basically I dont know what I'm wiring to what wire and how to wire it. There's only 2 wires with the Glow Gauges, a red and black, power and ground. From there.. I don't know where to start. I need help fast.. -------------------- |

^^^that's how I got mine set up, I think it's the best way because if you splice up the dimmer wires you may have problems later ( may be overloading the circuit )
I'm not an expert, but I'm sure someone here can tell you exactly what to do. -------------------- ![]() |

What i did for mines was, i cut the fuse box of the guages, the black and the red wire...split it into two....connect the black somewhere down the fuse box underneath the steering wheel for grounding...basically unscrew a bolt and screw the bolt back in to hold the black wire in place...for the red wire...i attached in one of the fuse plugs...i belive a 12v or 7v...it worked...

i just wired mine into the brake light fuse so it comes on whenever the lights are on.. but yeah, i wouldnt wire it into the dimmer, they are designed to take 12 volts (well designed to take a certain amount of current before the power hits the built in dimmer switch depending on what kind you have)

Well as I said before its wired and it works. The only things is all the light that are associated with the dimmer, such as the 194 bulbs in the cluster that light up the needles and whatnot, and the lights in the climate control don't come on at all.
My new gauges are not wired into the dimmer, although the green dimmer wire was cut, but was re-wired back together. I don't know how to get those lights to work again... -------------------- |
