Ok i talked to some guy at ToYSport and they told me that they can get me the GT4 hood and bumper plus all the extras for $1600. Does that really sound like a good price?
Ok now i was thinking that i want my car to be a little bit lighter since I'm going to have the 3sgte swap, I want to use all the HP to full potenial. So i want to get the C-ONE C/F GT4 hood.

I know they are about $900 plus shipping. So can anyone tell me about how much it would be to get shipped to Los Angeles? And is it worth it?

Plus it would be ****ing tight to have a celi like that in the US. bowdown.gif I THINK confused.gif i would be the only one with that look. Then all i would need are the CURREN tails.

Well thanx for any feedback.

It was my christmas gift so

either it was 1200 or 1800 for the hood and bumper!

You can do the hood alone. I had my hood on for about 2 months before I put the bumper on and it looked fine. yes there was a gap but it just looked like another air inlet.

Only problem I had with toysport was we had to keep on their arse to make sure where my stuff was cuz it took like 2 months to get here then we were missing some parts that had to be shipped from japan then was in cali then had to come to washington.

dude, if u just want the hood, then buy the C-one hood that goes with the normal bumper, its the same design as the c-one gt4 hood but w/o a gap. like for instance if u want a different front bumper, but want a gt4 hood, i would go with the regular C-one hood cuz its very similar to a gt4 hood and u can get it in CF or not CF and it fits the stock bumper. and yea to my knowledge if u got any c-one stuff it would be the only c-one celi stuff in america, but its pretty expensive unless u find a hookup in japan or else theyll rape u on shipping and stupid extra charges.

The "gap" is between the hood and the front bumper, and yea ive seen it before it does just look like an air inlet unless things arent lined up perfect. its there because the GT4 bumper goes up higher than stock so the grill and the toyota emblem can fit. so the GT4 hood "starts higher" and leaves a gap with a normal bumper. compare a pic of a normal celi and a GT4 and youll see what i mean. its subtle, but really noticeable if u really look. the difference is mostly in that the center of the hood is slightly raised to accomodate the grill on the bumper, which is also slightly raised. The C-one hood has the slightly raised thing goin on, but it goes down to meet the bumper. but if u want the gt4 bumper then go with the hood and bumper, just look at your options before making such a big purchase. it would definitely be different. good luck

I have pics of my car with and without the bumper put on so ill post both this weekend but do keep in mind i have a black car so its kind of hard to tell where the gap was!

Later
Natalie

PS Id say get a real Toyota GT4 hood. I have more respect if you have an actual one!

I just bought my ST205 hood and bumper for around $850.

Geoff Mohler (aka Celica Guru) is going to be offering them as a kit / group buy pretty soon. Check with him before you pay too much: gemohler@www.speedtoys.com

The ST205 hood is aluminum, so it only weights around 15 lbs.

I went to ToYSport on WEDNESDAY, June 4. That guy there said he has never heard of a alloy hood? "There is no such thing. Its all steel" those were his words.

So i just went ahead and ordered it from ToYSport.

That's bs. I've got two of them in my garage right now. One of them came with my front clip and was damaged, so I ordered a new one (skin only since I have all the grills and orniments). I know it's aluminum since I took it to a body shop and was told they cant fix it because of the material. Steel is much easier to reshape then aluminum.

Maybe its b/c that hood is cheaper, and that A$$ just wants to get as much money out of me since i didnt do the swap w/ him.
