I got it through Toyotaworld for 378.00 plus shipping.
I had it quoted from my local dealer for 438.00 w/tax.
Why are you selling it?

200.00 themselves 50.00 for the center. thats about
a 700.00 hood without paint.

its in good condition, there is a paint scuff by the main grille but it isnt dented there. there are a few very minor dents (you have to get down and look closely to notice them). chances are youll repaint it anyways, and the bodywork is minimal. shipping is too much for 400 shipped. im in colorado. just to let everyone know 400+ shipping is the least i would even consider, which ive already been offered. 500+ shipping is what im looking for. but keep in mind this is just a feeler at this point. its used, but if you look at the prices youll pay (with all 4 vents) at toyotaworld or a dealer with shipping, its still a deal. and i can have it out right away, whereas it could take awhile ordering one. would make the best deal obviously if your car is silver.

were you able to get the painted vents from toyotaworld? youre going to love it, its so much lighter and mean looking only reason im considering selling is because i dont have the extra cash right now to get it painted, and spring break, valentines, and my girlfriends bday are all coming up soon so i could use the extra money.

edit- keep in mind, pick up is welcome if you want to avoid shipping.

With $200 more, I'd rather buy a ST205 C-ONE CF Hood.

imho id rather buy a cf hood period for anything over 300 dollars

these gt-4 hoods are pretty light.. maybe just a couple pounds heavier than CF.. and imo they're the best looking hoods made for our cars.

what makes this better is that it comes complete with all the small things plus the rain guard (which i can't even find in my EPC).

this is a good chance for those wanting to start their gt4 conversion..

shipping would be around $75. ya the scuff mark is ugly (its not dented there though), but it didnt stop me from driving with this hood on my red car for about 4 months. guessing you could get that touched up for cheap though.

edit: if i dont sell this before spring break, then i might just keep it.

yes the gtfour hood will close and open just fine without any modifications. the main latch is perfect. the only issue is that the safety latch hook is a bit short for the gtfour hood (it still hooks though). when you disengage the main latch from inside, the hood will not pop up as usual because the safety latch is so tight. to unhook the safety latch i have to press down on the hood lightly. you only need to modify your latch if you get a gtfour bumper. with the stock bumper, the gap allows you to get your fingers in to unhook the safety latch. without the gap, there wouldnt be anyway to get the hood open. so if you have a gtfour bumper, you can either take the safety latch off and just use the main latch (not recommended) or lengthen the safety hook about a half inch.
