I didn't know that they had them mate. You sure its not just yours? They must be wired into the ignition somewhere, disconnect that and they'll stop. Dan |

i thought about disabling them but i never got around to doing it.
you don't need to disable them for HIDs unless your putting some in the high beam one place to start would be to pull the DLR fuses from the mox mounted on the radiator -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------

They are under the hood in their own relay box, close to the radiator

With WRX's theres an ebrake wire that controls the lights. So even if the car is on, if the ebrake is up, then they're off. If its the same way you can probably just ground out the wire and they'll be off.

Alright thanks guys for all the info, may get around to looking into it. This is one of those projects down the road.
K-ESD, what I was thinking of doing was getting 4 HID's. Was thinking of having my high beams around 5500k for a bright white light and was thinking of going for my low beams as an 8500k and get more of a bluish purple light for my regular city driving. Once again this is all possibilities I am thinking about, of course just researching now to answer some of my questions. -------------------- |

I would try pulling the fuse under the hood first too see what happens. I wish i could try it myself, the celica is in a million pieces. lmk what you find -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------
