It was really weird experiense...
- no clutch pedal - you don't need to touch shifter to driveaway... - you don't need to touch shifter to stop! - you don't need to touch shifter during ride at all !!! I was so... "deficient" , so confused... I drived like in driving school . Any one of you ever tried "other tranny" than is your usual one? -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... i first learned off a manual and have only owned manual cars too.. but i've driven automatics here and there but very rarely..
it's funny cuz sometimes when i start to move my moms van from the driveway, i'd be feeling for the clutch and my right arm would reach for nothing trying to shift to first gear.. lol. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

i dont know. i like driving an automatic. You don't have to sit that close to the steering wheel and you can just relax and let the car do the work. During some morning drives i like to recline the seat and just make driving a relaxing way to get somewhere.

I drove my Supra here in VA, but when I went to Puerto Rico and got in my Celica, the first thing I did was try to step on the clutch to start the gas!

i hate driving auto. unless i'm driving the family car... the escalade. other than that, driving an auto so boring. and one time i was driving our pickup truck, and i accidentally stepped on the break with my left foot thinking it was the clutch while trying to do an engine break. good thing there were no cars behind me. i just have to drive stick. plus i feel so much cooler when i'm at a stop on a hill and roll back and forth.

When I park my car, I usually leave my shifter on whatever gear I was on. Just pull that e-brake as hard as I can, car off, and get the hell outta the car.....
So this one time I was driving my friend's auto.... Parked, e-brake high up, engine off... but key won't pull out! WTF?!?! It's stuck! Cheap ass Civic! ****ing hate Honda! Key's stuck! Turn key.... now ENGINE WONT START!!! WHAT IS WRONG!?!?!?!? After like 30 minutes playing around with everything.... found out that I WASNT IN PARK!!!!! STICK SHIFT DRIVERS! WHEN U PARK AN AUTO, PUT YOUR CAR IN PARK! That was embarrassing.... -------------------- |
