Hey guys, went to the dragstrip on saturday, it was a huge turnout, and a few friends took videos of us 3 running (me,dad, bro). I took the 3sceli, the cobalt ss, and the jdm RSX-S.
I ran my car quite a few times, but the girls took more vids of the cobalt and deleted some of the celi I got to run the RSX twice as well and i'm soo impressed that it runs neck-to-neck with the s/c and the turbo car. well here are the vids(keep in mind that the wind was so strong it would literaly push the camara around): celi vs ss rsx vs celi Cobalt vs Cobalt dash of ss vs celi rsx vs celi our A-spec rsx vs new type s me in rsx vs ss same as above:) |

yea you can, its the one where you dont see lights on, then you can see the jdm tails as it passes by, also, its the quietest one, u cant hear it lol
in the first vid you can totaly tell which is the celica, if you cant, dont drive a 6gc:P or your monitor cannot display the dark vids well the vids were also taken with a digi cam, so thats why they arent so good and there is no light to light up the track, its really dark:( This post has been edited by 95celgt: May 29, 2006 - 1:30 PM |

QUOTE(95celgt @ May 29, 2006 - 1:24 PM) in the first vid you can totaly tell which is the celica, if you cant, dont drive a 6gc:P or your monitor cannot display the dark vids well 1.) Yes, I can see ALL the vids fine, but if I don't know which one is the celica, looking at the red tails flying by is not going to help 2.) Why should i not drive a 6gc? 3.) My monitor is very good, trust me. 17 inch flat panel. Anyway, good to see you enjoying your ride. ~snap This post has been edited by snapshotgt: May 29, 2006 - 1:36 PM -------------------- Past: V6 Swapped 6G Celica, E46 BMW M3, Jeep Wrangler TJ

the event was so huge they werent giving timeslips, only r/t's and 1/4 times on the board:(
everybody got bad times that day too, the track was really slippery! all 3 cars hit an average of 15.4 spinning tires in 2nd lol I hit ONE 14.6 when my tires gripped 2nd(the first vid) my celi is also only hitting 5-6 psi! cobalt has 218whp will take my car to the dyno soon so i can hook up the wideband |

Get that Celica fixed! Thats below stock levels....probably a vacuum leak or boost leak.
BTW your car isn't a GT4 like in the video tags, its a swapped GT. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

there is no boost or vaccum leak so ive given up until i have money, car runs like a champ at this state anyway, and its tagged gt4 because thats what the locals need to know it as, no one wants to acknowledge it as a celica haha
