hey guys,
recently i have been hearing this odd "tat-tat-tat" noise coming from the front driver's side of my car whenever i make turns that are moderatly sharp ....also i have noticed that the noise seems to increase speed with an increase in car speed? Its only when i make right turns as well......do you guys have any idea of what this could be or has anyone had a similar problem? thanks for your help |

I've experienced this when I first lowered my car. If you look at the top plate of the strut, there should be a little groove that should lock. I am not technical with the correct term but I noticed tat sounds when I turned sharp. I had to redo the installation after knowing it locked, everything seems fine. I mean your description matches my experience but I cannot relate so much if you haven't lowered your car, unless the same part I am talking about has worn out or has gotten loose. Sorry I could not provide accurate detail.
