hey guys, wondering if anyone has the trd quickshifter, was it hard to install?

I installed my TWM shifter and im guessing its pretty similar. I understand that the TRD shifter is the whole assembly so it might be a little easier, You just have to take off the 2 clips that hold the shifter linkages to the assembly and detatch the gear shifter from the linkages. Also the 4 bolts that hold the assembly down.

If you don't mind waiting a bit, my TRD QuickShifter is in the mail right now, and once it comes in I plan to install it and write up a how-to for you guys. I heard that it's a really straightforward installation.

We won them from eBay. I got mine brand new for $108 shipped, but it doesn't have the TRD shift knob. I don't need the shift knob though, because I like the Greddy one that I've got now. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
