I went out to grab some drinks & play pool w/ my friend last night. I had 2 Vodka Cran's which gave me a little buzz but nothing crazy. After leaving the bar we were hungry so we went & got Taco bell (there goes my work out for the night!) We were going to my friends to eat & watch a movie but stopped by Plaid Pantry first to grab a few drinks. It was around midnight & NO one was there so I kinda hugged the line when I parked, nothin crazy.
So we went in & I grabbed 4 Tilts & took them up to the counter...I accidentally dropped one, but picked it up no problem & set it on the counter. We went to show the guy our ID's & he said "Actually I dont need to see them, because im not selling to you, you have had enough - your cut off" I thought he was JOKING. I said "are you kidding me? I didnt even have 2 drinks tonight" but he was serious, he said "you cant even park your car straight" & pointed out the window. Oooh that made me pissed....I told him again "I am not drunk, I parked kinda crooked on PURPOSE cause its the middle of the night & no one is here" I then said "what do I need to do touch my fingers to my nose, do some drunk tests for you or what?" but my friend started going off on him (which didnt help cause it made him sound like a drunk retard lol) He said "lets go this guy just wants to get back to jackin his friend off (there was some other guy hanging out with him there) ANYWAY - I'm still mad about it because I was no where near being drunk. What an idiot...they were kinda geeky looking so my guess is that they just wanted to get back to playing dungeons & dragons or something Natalie next time your down here we should go there & hit on him & say "ewww your cut off - you have had too much ugly to drink" hahaha ok that was dumb... -------------------- |

he probably just didn't wanna take responsibility if anything happened after you leave his place... i think there have been times where the bartender was liable when some ppl got in accidents for being drunk...

Thing is though it was a grocery store. But I do think they carry the right to refuse service. How old was this guy? I cant imagine refusing someone unless they really were destructive or something.

I cant imagine refusing someone unless they really were destructive or something. He looked about 25 - 26. And his friend looked even younger. Picture a fat Napoleon Dynamite refusing to sell my booze haha It only bothered me so much because I was in noooo way drunk. -------------------- |
