WTB: hatchback trunk cover Options

I need to find the the piece that hangs from the hatch when the hatch is up, and covers up the trunk when the hatch is down so no can see whats in your trunk. As you can see I don't know what the piece is realy called, so if anyone can help me out with the name or where I can get one, that would be great.

Toyota calls it the "package tray". Don't EVEN think of going to a dealer to get it. I bought my car used and it didn't have one so I went to a dealer to see how much they wanted. I figured that, even by ridiculous dealer prices, it wouldn't cost more than 100 dollars. The guy stood there with a straight face and told me it was 300 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, but then he added, he could take 10% off. WOW!! 270 bucks, what a deal!!

Luckily for me, I asked on this site if anyone had one for sale and I found a guy who had one AND lived within a half an hour of me. So I just sent him an email and we met somewhere where I could look at it. It wasn't in the best condition( the top has a felt-like material and there were several marks all over it) but I still gave the guy 40 bucks for it. It didn't matter about the top for me because I ended up buying some fabric and covering it.

Okay, enough about me. To answer your question, here are your best options: 1) www.taprecycling.com 2) a local junkyard 3) Post a WTB on THIS site 4) EBAY - you might get lucky but don't hold your breath.

Also, I wouldn't pay more than $80 for one in mint condition. I don't know what a junkyard charges but that seems to be the going rate for a perfect one. You also might want to do what I did. If you find one where the top is all worn or marked up, get it and buy some fabric at a fabric store(or try Wal-Mart) and cover it with that. All you need is some spray adhesive and scissors. You can choose from a wide variety of colors and patterns or if you want to go plain-jane you can just buy a felt material that will match your interior. I tried taprecycling.com for mine. They never found one for me(it's one of those parts that they don't normally keep). It's not like they were blowing me off either, they did get me a rear wiper motor for $120. If you do try them though, be sure to call as they hardly ever check their e-mail.
