the red is duplicolors high heat 1200* with ceramic so i think that will last the longest, ive used that in the valve cover i got on now and its holding up fine

I was thinking about painting my valve cover for my 5SFE too, how would I go about doing that and not getting anything in my engine? I have a local shop that powdercoats too, I was thinking about getting a few parts powdercoated as well, if anyone wants I could check into that too...I actually used to work there, they powdercoated Hummer speaker grilles, seat brackets, brushguards, suspension peices, PT Cruiser turbo pipes, etc... the finish was pretty good.
