Need help?

I bought a gt4 spoiler c/w riser blocks off a scrap yard which parted out a 96 celica gt4. But when I removed my 3post spoiler, the new spoiler with the riser blocks doesnt seem to line up with the original holes?

Can anyone shed some light on this? Do i need to drill all new holes?

Or can it even work?

Thanks

probably your new spoiler is from a hatchback and you have a coupe, so you'll need a little mod to make it fit.

can someone confirm that or kick me if I'm wrong ? smile.gif

^overseas they call their hatchback coupes, just lil' knowledge for ya.---btw, what part of NJ you from?

do you have a picture of your cars rear? if need be you might have to drill new holes, but i thought that you could just fill in the center holes(from the 3 post) and it would work.

GT-4 blocks cant be used on a 3 Post spoiler.

You will need the "old" 94-96 2 post spoiler

you have to drill new holes cause the three post has different patterns than the 2 post.

firstly of all like kadett explained you need the 2-post spoiler to attach the raiser blocks on the wing. secondly you need to drill new holes on your boot to attach the raiser blocks. alot more modifications are needed. get yourself a 2-post spoiler i say. the hatchback in my country (australia) are the celi's with the window that open up with the boot, the coupes are the boots that open up independantly and the rear window is fixed. -R

thanks for all the help, i got it sorted now, 2 of the original holes (one either side) are in the correct location. So i just drilled 1 new hole either side and i was sorted. Only bad thing is I got to fill 3 holes frown.gif

Have it on the car looks sweet!!!!! Also got new 18" rims last weeks, the car looks completed different, real jap racer look, i love it...i post pics soon!! Thanks

Oh and in ireland the celica that i have are called coupes...even though the really are a liftback or hatchback (dont know why, just are)
