 Leaking oil from head gasket? |

alright, it's leaking oil terribly. It must've leaked about 2 quarts in 3 weeks or so. Oil was changed about a month ago. It's coming out where it's circled in green. Covered where it's red. Any ideas what this might be or suggestions? I don't feel like taking it to mechanic yet as money is tight.

ive got the same problem, not as much oil tho. we just need to change our head gasket, and im doin the whole head gasket set (metal head gasket for turbo).

Thats the valve cover gasket you got highlighted in green.

replace the valve cover gasket, about $30 at autozone. theres a how-to on the site i think.

Very easy change, remove the spark plug holders at the top and stick a flat head into the cover and gently slide up to remove. |

lol mines looks like a peanut butter jelly sandwitch, except it has oil in it
 my engine isint that clean and its still below 100 miles... -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D

thats not head gasket.
thats a VALVE COVER gasket. you can get a new one @ toyota for like 14$. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
