hmmm...thats wierd....i thought that the needles shared the same bulbs as the rest of the gauge cluster.....the stock color is green, if yours is red the previous owner probably messed with it and like XS4lv1Truch0x siad, may have painted the needles....

worst come to worse....there are ALWAYS parts in the buying/selling forum, im sure you could snag another guage cluster! =)

I believe he used the pictures as an example of his problem, not actual pictures of his gauges.

thats because those are not stock bulbs in there. you should have normal 194 bulbs with a green condom thing on it. the last owner probably changed the bulbs to led's or something thats not bright enough to light up the gauge cluster correctly.

im pretty sure if you have an indiglo gauges , they are an overlay to the stock gauges, and they have there own power (someone correct me if im wrong) therefore all 3 of your main bulbs have blown out, but the only thing you are seeing is burnt out needles because the gauges you have on there are hiding the stock numbers

I found someone who had the same prob as me (also same indiglo gauge too !!!) I sent him/her a pm hopefully they can tell me how they got the needle to light up again btw my dimmer switch doesn't work... frown.gif but then the climate and other controls light up... kindasad.gif

heres the thread I was talking about...the person didn't tell how they fixed it though... frown.gif

yeah, did you install them yourself?

cause if you did, you prolly cut into the illumination led and didnt let it run to the guague, or you prolly blew a fuse, take a look at ur fuses and see if any of them are blown

No I didn't install them they came with the car when I bought it....I'm guessing what brian was saying maybe the bulbs went out cause my dimmer switch doesn't work too, i'll have to replace it and see if thats the problem....

I'm gonna go take some quick pics...

Yeah if there ae indiglo gages and just the needles don't light up either the other owner didn't put the bulbs back in or the dimmer switch is the key and after you fix it your problems will go away. I also had to fix my dimmer switch. But it was before I put my Indiglo's in. I just took the switch apart and rebuilt it myself. It was just bad contacts. Good luck.
