Hey, I tried installing one of those aftermarket antennas. I had to cut the original antenna cable in order to hook it up and the reception sucked. Now I have found an antenna that would have plugged into my old antenna cable. So now I have to replace the old antenna wire in order to hook up the new one properly. Does anyone know the easiest way to replace the radio antenna wire? I'm going to do a how to since I had to remove my old power antenna.

Try radioshack they may have a plug you can attach and save the old cable. If not it's just gonna be follow the cable back to the radio. It's gonna be taped and tied along the way. Don't just start pulling because you may break a wire somewhere.

It may. Even if it does just take it slow and remember where everything goes. It's not that bad. And it's also a good time to do some soundproofing.
