I have a stock CD player in my 95 ST. The past two months or so, the thing is skipping really bad (like no sound for 3-4 seconds) over every little bump in the road. Should I clean it? If so, how? or just get a deck? I really dont have the cash right now for a deck, but this is freakin annoying.
Any recommendations for a deck around $150? I'll install myself. (well, my friends will anyway) thanks! |

u can buy one of those disc cleaners but im not sure if it would work....but if u want to buy a deck for around $150 dollars...either ask some buddy of yours if they are sellin their deck or buy a cheap deck at an electronic store that sells decks

i think the slot faced pioneer decks work amazing for the price. i doubt you will need soundstaging and dsp's and all that.
i would recommend Pioneer DEH P2500 click here for specs. its only 159 at crutchfield |

I second the vote for the Pioneer DEH P2500 at crutchfield. You can find the radio cheaper elsewhere but crutchfield includes the kit and harness. And their tech help is pretty good too.
