send him a letter saying "If %50 of the profit is not sent to me after the auction I will tell my lawyer to go ahead and file a claim for copy-righted infringment and invasion of privacy" since he didnt even block out the license plate, or somethin like that, you get the idea.

I'd be especially pissed since he's putting his name all over the photos so someone ELSE cant steal them.

I could be wrong, but I think that's actually illegal, but you can't really do anything in reality.

i was under the impression that unless an image is copyrighted putting it on the internet is fair game, kinda sucks.

An image is protected under copyright law (in most countries) once you take it.

Seeing as how the seller is in the US, they can get into trouble for doing something like this if Tufy wanted to press legal action.

Don't you know Tufy's car is EVERYWHERE? lol

Plus it's stupid because the "ST/GT" front bumper they're selling is NOT the same as Tufy's "GT4" bumper.

Geez even if they wanna steal picture at least steal the RIGHT one...

After thinking for a minute, Tufy's best option, since I doubt he'd want to prosecute, would probably be to contact eBay requesting that the user's listings with that picture be taken down immediately as they infringe on copyright laws.

He already knows about this already guys, somebody else had a thread that brought it to his attention.
I remember he wasn't particularly happy that they left his license plate # in the photo.....Contacting EBay for such matters is your best bet, for sure.

He's around though, Tufy posted up that video of him racing the Supra awhile back. However I think I read that he's a pharmacist and works 12 hour days, so I'm sure that leaves him with very little time.

i am brovsing forms every day guys wink.gif . i have internet at my shop. i know about this e-bay page. and there is a few more. what i think is at least they should ask for a pemition to use it.
i mailed to extreme dimensions (they are using my cars photo too) about this. they replied to me ''What is fn 350?''. i write again to tell them that its my gt four. no more reply to me mad.gif
i dont have time to spent on thinks like this. but if someone want to do for me. i will be so glad. smile.gif

If it is on ebay you can notify ebay with one click and two written lines that these photos for this product are not legally taken.

Yeah it is, that does have to be cool tho' that everyone wants to use your car because its that badass!!!! but suck because thats yours, and they have no right to use it.

notice how it says that the cars may not look like the product..haha

you should call there 800 number and when there like "how can I help you" say "yes i'd like money for using stolen pictures of my car." Make sure you record it tho so we can hear the entire conversation.
