Ah. Knowing that it was a civic intake would have helped. So yeah.

If you've plugged in your intake temp sensor

and

If you've plugged in your crank case vac tube

and

If you've plugged in the other hose that goes off into neverland.

and you still have extra holes, then yes. You should plug them.

Weld, cork, do whatever, but yes, definitely plug them.

i dont understand... you are asking what the part number for the vacume tube is? if so there is no part number, just go to any car store and buy 6 inches of vac tube for like a dollar.

ok, as you can see, I've got the tube on the intake now (taped off at the moment until someone can tell me where all these tubes go!) now, I know now where that tube is supposed to go, but as you can see, there is a tube already there that runs to the throttle body. so if I take that end of the tube off to put the tube from the intake there, then where does the other tube go?!?!?!

fix the valve hose to the intake nipple and we go from there...your current valve hose goes to the throttle for whatever reason, the intake hose is going where?

currently; the intake hose is just taped off until I could get a straight answer as to where the valve hose was supposed to go.

you got an extra hose going on there, take one off and put the other from the valve to the intake. like the picture shows...follow the red line.

right, so, what I need to know is what plugs onto the gold colored nipple circled in red. from your pictures, neither of your cars have this so I'm really confused.

also, the tube connected to the valve (circled in purple) is extremely difficult to take off. it had a little metal fastener thing (circled in pink) that I pushed down the tube a few inches, and then I yanked as hard as I could on the tube and it didn't budge at all...
