Just got back from the movie. I enjoyed it and Han is my next boyfriend lol!
I was just disappointed that there were no older drift cars. :-( I also was not impressed with the dialogue and could have done without the Vin appearance. All in All though it was alright and ill buy it im sure. Did anyone else get upset by the serious conversation happening while drifting down the mountain between that BEAUTIFUL girl in the movie and that HOT guy? lol. I dated a guy who drifted very well and theres no way he could hold a conversation like that haha This post has been edited by BlackCelicaGT94: Jun 19, 2006 - 10:03 AM -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

i actually saw the mustang at NOPI in st louis and the 350Z that was flat wiht the gloss black graphics....I HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET..
the mustang had a very straight, nice body but the engine was a lil crappy lookin. the paint on the valve cover was THICK so thick that it was peeling....the 350 was pretty bad IMO..the flares on it were painted as if they were textured but they wanted them smoth...but they were still kinda textured...it still drive either of em though -------------------- Coming in 2010 full paintjob - new wheels - modified body - new interior - engine build- marriage |

Wish we had some roads like that down here. Would be nice to just cruise the sunset with a lady friend.

put it off as long as i could but my 14 year-old was all like "lets go i wanna see this with you, it'll be cool. she's into all things asian and specially Tokyo. we both agreed on the movie S T E A M I N G P I L E O F S H I T !!!!
too familiar screenplay, bad acting, bad dialogue, shots of the racing were too tight, no insight into HOW it's done, you can't race and have meaningful conversations with your passengers, you can't learn japanese overnight, if any of those actors were 18 and under i am a leprechaun, the crowded intersection scene was laughable-- poor setup/foreshadowing and the CGI sucked, too much CGI in the downhill finale, no character developpement (except fot the lead female) and lastly: why do they insist on stunning us with sound in the theatres? my ears rang for 4 hours...couldn't fall asleep!!! PS if you want to see the same movie on a smaller scale watch: Kart Racer, same movie...better movie!! This post has been edited by axelrduvirage: Jun 28, 2006 - 4:57 AM -------------------- |

i liked it, i liked the soundtrack too
i was annoyed with girl drifting and holding convo, and i hated how the races had contact during them, and some other tiny things. . . 90% of the girls in that classroom > main girl , but that's just me -------------------- |

great movie. i liked it more than the first two. the only thing that i didnt like is the amount of damage the cars receive... very unrealistic. i mean, i havent ridden in an evo, but i assume the body is made of nearly the same material as any other car and it just had a few dents after bumping into all those things... the paint was still intact... but yea, i loved it. the soundtrack is pretty good too.

well, i didnt go to the movie expecting a masterpiece, i got exactly what i paid for and i enjoyed the movie.. eye candy in the form of both cars and girls, some pretty funny moments, etc.
i didnt expect to go in and see an award winning critically acclaimed flick.. it was entertainment at its best, it wasnt supposed to be real.. |

^werd^
I get so tired of people who critisize movies for not representing reality. If I wanted reality, I would go sit by the side of the road for 2 hours and watch traffic, not pay $8 to sit in a theater and do it. Movies are designed to entertain, to take your mind off of real life and allow you to relax. Now I do hate the fact that these three movies have singlehandedly bastardized the import culture into the rice-riden thing that is has become. Oh well. |
