Coming home from work, I try to pull my window up and the window motor makes a weird sound like it's struggling. I try to make it go down to see if it was a false alarm and no luck, same sound. Then it won't go up all the way, so I trick the motor by holding the window and making it go up all the way. When I get home and close the door, the window falls halfway. Thank God the glass didn't break. So now I have a bag over the window because I'm afraid rain will get in and I don't want my car to get stolen.

I searched and only found this:

It's sorta similar, but I don't know if it's just the motor since the glass was kinda loose when it fell halfway. Anyone have a motor available that they can sell me for cheap. I'm broke.

Please help, I need to get to work tomorrow. Lol. Thanks.

I am un-sure on celica's weither or not the glass bolts to the sliders for the regular's but it did on my integra, I would check that the glass is on the tracks and probley replace the motor.

Thanks batman, that helped a bit, but I'm still not sure what part needs replacing. The motor struggles a bit, but I think it's because this metal cable snapped:

Anyone know the name/part# of the part I need to replace. I think the motor might be okay. It still makes noises and stuff.

When I was having power window troubles, i assumed it was the motor, so I bought one from celica_at_gt when he was parting out his car. I put it in a thought that he must have sold me a bad motor, and I took it to my mechanic and it was the switch.

I still have the motor, and I'll test it to see if it works, and if you want it i'll sell it to you for the same price he sold it to me, $40 shipped

hey, nice mod does it come in hetero?

Need parts? I'm parting out a '94 ST
