wow! bleeding in the face, kicked in the butt crack, kneed on the butt cheek.. 1 red on Italy, and 2 questionable reds on the USA...

What a game.

1 - 1

USA didn't scored. Italy scored both.... just for the heck of it.

The red cards on the USA were complete bull. If that ref was controlling a soccer game I was playing in, I wouldve been kicked out in 10 minutes.

Really? I thought the ref did a good job, i mean the american player almost ripped that italian players foot off on that tackle, thats an easy red in my books, questionable refing would have to go to the ref who did the portugal game, figo gets kicked in the face and doesnt even get any justice. thats bull

We have Ghana next. They looked really good against the Czech Republic, even though the CR was down one man on a Red Card and was without Jan Koller.

Not just without Koller. Baros was "out of order" too... kindasad.gif. owned.gif horrible match... for Czech of course wink.gif

You think so?? Have you ever seen a tackle before? that **** was a normal tackel maybe a bit late bud def not deserving of a red card. Yellow at most. And the Pope red card was crap.

Funny that the ref was banned from the sport a few years ago for questionable calls... funny that he comes back to ref against the US... 20 some fouls to 10 fouls is def not even calling at all. Ref was paid off by someone and he ruined the game and I feel bad for anyone who paid money to go watch a terribly called game

he could've easily broken that guys ankle with that tackle, I agree with the red card.

Thought USA was unlucky not to get a goal or 2 though, they played alot better in the second half but overall I think their passing was a bit poor.
All the top teams have looked crap this WC though, don't know why but no one seems bothered to try very hard.

I agree, it seem most teams go with the defend then counter style so that sorta slows the game a bit....

It was a bad call and not deserving of a Red card. I guess you had crappy eyesight and continue to have crappy eyesight when looking at that play. And since you did watch soccer, don't you know all about the faking that they teach?? I mean come on a red card, whatever it was a horrible call by a really crappy ref that shoudn't have been there.

A late tackle should never be any worst than a yellow card. Popes tackle was a clean tackle also. He had all ball. Now elbows to the face, definately red.

For the love of god open your eyes. Foot ripped off, I mean serious geez. You wanna see a foot ripped off, I'll find you a pic of what a foot ripped from the body looks like if you really think the tackle was that bad. Damn you and the Ref must be related cause your judgement is just as bad as his
