hey guys, i was wondering if i can change the climate control lights with leds? i got a 95 ZR, so was i wondering of changing the colors, i got some 5mm LEDs the other day, and i'm not sure if it'll workor not, sorry i don't know that much about electrical and electronics, thanks in advance, cheers...

^that has nothing to do with LEDs, you can change the color with out them... so idk about that part

the cc unit has a led under each button ('cept the rear window, that's a small bulb), and 3x special toyota bulbs for backlighting.

you can change the color a number of ways, but if you want an intense/saturated color, you'll need to use leds and resistors.

for backlighting i used num74 led replacements (with the resistors already wired in) purchased from here:
autolumination.com.

then took the bulb out of it's base, bored it's holes out a litte bigger. and seated the guts of the num74 led in there. if you want i can give you a link to the diagram.
