I am kinda a noob when it comes to paint, and i was just wondering if there is an easy way to put back on some of that clear coat, its comming off only in areas about the back.
Any sugestions would be much appreciated. -------------------- 0111011001101001011100110111001101101001

well, if you don't have any major scratches on the paint, then i'd suggest to get your car re-clearcoated.
i'm not sure what the exact procedures are but it involves a complete wetsanding with light sandpaper and then re-coat with clearcoat. i'd suggest to go to a bodyshop and get an estimate done. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

you will probably have to get htat quareter repainted...if clearcoat is chipping off like that it is due to poor adheision. and if someone were to try and fether the already chipping clear coa t and JUST feather it then it will leave some wavy spots. more than likely it will have to be sanded with some 220 until all the clear is gone (and some of your paint too) and then reprimed, based and cleared once again...thats the right way atleast

The only problem is it is on the back of the car to . How much would a descent paintjob overall cost?
I need to get a new driverside fender, and bondo the door a bit. I think the car was in a few wrecks before i got it, cause the door is a bit darker than the rest of the car, and that is the only area of the car thats peeling. I was hoping that clearcoat was an easier process, o well. -------------------- 0111011001101001011100110111001101101001

your hatch looks to be blended on as well. its bareley in the picture but you can see it . what probably happened s the door had damage then the blended it onto the qaurter then the fender....a GOOD paint job which means not haveing yor car for up to a week, taking the doors, hood and hatch off , sanding everything with prob 220 where the clear is bad then primeing it, 400 everywhere else then jambing in everything and base-clearnig everything else....lookin at ...i'm gonna say $3000...price goes up because of repairs needed...this of course to me is a slightly high estimate but i'd rather tell u something high and u get something lo wather than the other way aroumd...now if you just want that quarter and door repaired you're lookin mor like ..500 at the most
