QUOTE(playr158 @ Jun 27, 2006 - 10:55 PM) stay away from varis kit replicas...that would probably ruin the complete idolitry(sp) of that kit...if you want a varis save up for a varis but thats one kit i'd rather not see degraded like the rest of them.. I agree with you there Dan:) The kit is expensive because it is made in Japan. They have stricter quality control. Most of the JDM stuff are expensive, because of the quality. If boosted made a few copies, sooner down the track, it will be all over ebay. I've no doubted about that. No one would've known the Veilside would end up that way, but it did. -------------------- 98 ST204 ZR - Black Beauty - Roaming the streets of Sydney 73 TA22 LT - Tiffany Blue - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 75 TA22 LT - Snow White - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 77 RA28 LT - Flubber Green - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 94 MX-5 NA8 Clubman - Red Racer - Looking for corners WIP Project: 69 RT40 Corona, 2nd WIP Project: 66 RT40 1600s Corona 86 Corona RT142 - Daily Driver 6GC 4 Life Baby!!! |

its expensive for a reason...#1) quality #2) availability #3) to limit the amount of people that will have it...
and i like that fact...it would really suck to see a bunch of nock off arising kits at meets like we do gt4 look alikes |

That kit is too expensive, mostly because its made out of the country, and it is def. the best looking front for 6gc, I don't think that if boosted made few copies it would suddenly be all over ebay such. boosted what parts for 6gc do you currently offer? I vote for Varis arising II front bumper replica, shiny door sills , projectors, LED tail lights, rear bumper thats unlike veilside, engine dress up parts sound nice too The kit is definately NOT going on ebay. Mainly low key available for the 6gc market. But Playr158 still has a good point. Only front that looks good now is the C-one but they are very hard to come by. My next shipment of those are coming in this week but due to limited quantities they are already sold to various 6gc members. Kits in adbundance would be the vaders, Type 404 lips etc.. I can have the Varis bumper done, but that is totally up to you guys. ------------------------- Someone mentioned make the cargo covers in Carbon. I have done that for other cars and its not that bad of an idea and is a good start. ------------------------- The door sills would be made in carbon, probably not Aluminum ------------------------- Carbon hatches can be done, but I don't think that's a good start at the moment. -------------------------- Some people mentioned new skirts? If so which kind? --------------------------- Varis wing is something that can be done. I just need the authentic varis wing. ------------------------------ A new hood for 94-98 celica is possible. Just need pictures of the design. ------------------------------ Carbon Door panel I updated some of the suggestions to the box above if any one else has something to add. PM or email me. Thanks! |

CF sources arn't being said due to situations in the world atm its hard to come by when you do get some for a door handle i have some left over from a project that wouldn't do just fine cause its a small piece
if you want to start out with something i would suggest starter pieces as CF door sills (the long piece) then anything below in carbon or fiberglass ~door panels ~roof spoiler ~sideskirts those are the 4 top things i could thing of that would be good starters |

O god please no varis, projectors, or jdm items.... rare items should stay that way.... cf hatches would only be cost effective IF you get the plexiglass window in the hatch. I think you have a good thing going on boosted... keep it up man.

another vote for aluminum door sills i also wish there was more options for gauges in our cars, i dont like a-pillar pods but was forced to go with one, and doggys work (while excellent) is very expensive (handmade) and he doesnt like to update often (understandable) |

I think you have a good thing going on boosted... keep it up man. almost all car parts for our cars are "rare." and sorry...i think paying 2,500 dollars for a body kit is crazy (with paint) and just stupid. playr says if u want a varis kit just save up for it? If i save up nearly 3,000 dollars, u d*mn well better be sure that im not spending it on a body kit. costs of some jdm products are just assinine and even if they made custom projectors or varis replicas, i would bet that not even 20% of the people on this site would get them so they'd still be "rare." How many hooked up 6gens do u even see on the roads? NOT MANY. So for those that dont want these products duplicated cuz it'd ruin the rareness...get real. -------------------- Note to new members. You'll be degrading it because every Celica will soon have one,
and there will be no uniqueness anymore. Hence the reason why I've saved up for one, because the Veilside is getting a bit repetitive. -------------------- 98 ST204 ZR - Black Beauty - Roaming the streets of Sydney 73 TA22 LT - Tiffany Blue - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 75 TA22 LT - Snow White - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 77 RA28 LT - Flubber Green - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 94 MX-5 NA8 Clubman - Red Racer - Looking for corners WIP Project: 69 RT40 Corona, 2nd WIP Project: 66 RT40 1600s Corona 86 Corona RT142 - Daily Driver 6GC 4 Life Baby!!! |

I'm workin some 12 hr shifts so I'm dead tired and a lot of places are closed when I get done. I would love to see more aftermarket headlight options for the 6gc... I just do not wanna see jdm projectors so common that I lose my desire to own a set when I have a second celi -------------------- |

when i said projectors i sais like the civic type...not exactly like the JDM's ..i would never think of doing htat..and as for tail lights I would like something different than JDM but more design to em...but not as far as afterburners(ewww) and plaus if someone does have a replica set all you have to say is "yeah but they are REPLICAS" and then watch them walk away with their head hanging low:P
