Any tips for cleaning engine bay? Engine degreaser or what? MY bay was really really clean before winter and now its ****ty so I just want to clean that ish out... thanks

i use engine degresser, then spray it with the foam tire cleaner, then wipe it with a towel.

You can wait until is engine have cool right down and used a spray can with kerosene to wash the engine down properly.

This would a proper wash with complete grease removal. Then you can use crc all over the engine to bring that that nice new engine look.

Again, keep and flames and have your engine fairly cold when you do this.

go to kragens buy a can of engine steam cleaner spray read the directions on it. it works really good

Ya, my engine is completely horrible. So dirty. My question is if i should cover up all the wires, and belts before i clean the engine?

simple green concentrate in a squirt bottle, spray it on a semi warm engine (warm where u can put ur hand on it but no warmer than that) spray it all over , i try to keep it away from electrical parts but of course i do spray them sometimes so no biggie. let it sit for a min or 2, then take a hose and rinse off all the simple green.... no scrubbing needed.

o yea and i could be wrong but engines are supposodly water proof, but im not sure to what , i would just keep away from the alternator mainly.
