I like this lip..... this is a GREAT Front LIP!....thumbsup.gif

hahahah thanks dude! i love my car aswell its my 2nd gf laugh.gif i do have a part no. although i've installed it already and its hard for me to stick my head under the car and have a look... sorry maybe another member can help you out? well i actually got it from chrisc.. price wise i dont know whether or not he wants me to display prices as he is great well respectable seller here... hope you understand? i can tell you though its cost pretty much the same as a whole front bumper . im sure its the tom's full option lip. its in the japanese celica brochure under the "dealer's option page" im sure members here has the scan/brochure. if i have time i'll scan every page for you guys and you guys can print it out hows that? -R

QUOTE(doGGy @ Jul 11, 2006 - 1:33 AM)

It is the same lip as i have, some people call it "Magic" lip... If it the TOM's front lip for sure - so at the end we will know the real name of it biggrin.gif

It looks Damn good on your Celi biggrin.gif

thanks doggy. i didnt know you made replicas of this lip?.. well im going to get a friend of mine to translate the pages of the brochure and we'll know for sure what this tom's lip is really called unless someone here fluent in japanese can translate for the whole 6gc.net community smile.gif -R

QUOTE(Kadett @ Jul 11, 2006 - 3:21 AM)

Would it fit on a GT4 bumper. Looks great smile.gif

it won't fit the gt-fout bumper sorry. it needs the 96+ front bumpers. the one with the fog lights and the 3-post grille unless you modify it somehow -R

Nice daytime pics.
Googled and found the next site. Should be helpfull to you.

http://www.superpro.com.au/tein_performance_suspension.html

Already looked at that site. Seems Tein doesnt deliver for the Celica in Australia. If you use the same part numbers as I had you can use EDFC as well and have Pillowball Uppermount (camber adjustment)

Coilovers:
GST86-B1SS4
EDFC:
EDKV1-12140

They are just GREAT!!!! Especially with the EDFC installed. It makes the car both a Daily driver and a "racer", smooth on bad roads/highways and in the corners you just think "Huh I can go alot faster trough this" biggrin.gif

About how low can you go. Well stock delivered they were about 5mm lower then my Apex 35mm lowering springs. So make it 40mm. It can drop below that I think another 20-30mm. So you can tuck your wheels in the wheelwell or make them flush with the side fenders. I left them on stock position.

Here is a pic of my car with the teins just installed (was before the 3S-GTE swap so now its another 5mm lower in the front) I dont have a better side picture of my car. Been to busy and now its parked sideways between 2 other cars so cant take a good pic.

hurry and post pics. btw, still wanna sell me your splitters?

hey j0e_p3t,
i'll see how much the shipping to your area is. if its too dear i might aswell keep it and use it whenever i want to change the look. -R

thanks, my area code is 90501. your new lip looks hot. i'd like to see more pics of your car. get some during the daytime as well.

hey joe_p3t,
i've decided to keep the ss-iii front splitters for the mean time. i dont know whether or not i might need them in the future. sorry i checked also with the post office and the prices to ship them over to you is ridiculous. you'd rather buy them off chrisc its much cheaper and its of better state then the ones i have.. sorry -R

hey kadett,
that's exactly what im looking for something thats going to give me an excellent ride that can be adjusted for any type of driving cruising/racing. my aim is to make the wheels go well under the guards without using air bags. too expensive and the law here is very strict. thanks for the pic. i'd much apprecite it if you can get me a pic with the car fully lowered to the tein limits. no rush though -R

Its a simple but time consuming job. Just picture the car another 30+mm lower and you will get the idea.

A photoshop would be faster them me jacking the car up. Removing the tyres, looking for the hooks to unsrew the lower springcaps to lowest point, putting tyres back on and car on the ground just for a photo for a 6GC member. Sorry but I'm not gonna do it biggrin.gif
