he said i need a new housing or lense or something i cant remember and that it needs to be put on a machine and aimed because my current one is not putting out enough light?

i think this is total bull ****, i hate inspection here..

anyone ever heard of this? i mean he said the headlight was clouded but its not clouded at all it looks just like the rest of them..

Sorry to hear that man. But hearing everyone on here talking about failing inspection makes me very happy that we don't have a such thing as a vehical inspection. But maybe just get new & brighter bulbs.

If it's at all cloudy/hazy you could buff the glass probably.

thats the thing it looks the same as the rest of the lights, he said its the housing, im gonna make them show me wtf is wrong with it tomorrow

I don't know if they do but, they may be using a light mette, it reads the light intensity in candles kindasad.gif if they tell you something like this ask them what is the minimiun reading that you can have on each one ( lows and highs )

rayme's right, incadecent lights get dimmer and yellower (new word) as they get older.

change both at the same time so you don't have the weird two tone headlight effect

i just changed the other one, i will change the one that failed too.

its a shame that i cant say i trust them to know well enough that its the headlight and not the bulb.. freakin mechanics...

its an inspection required to get tags, maryland state safety inspection

but on the plus side we dont have smog
