JDM projectors has one area which makes me think about (in red on the picture).
![]() Is that area light (anyhow)? I mean is there possibility plug there some bulb (194 for example)? Or it's just "embellishment"...? Why I'm asking... We have in European models so-called "parking lights" (194 bulb turned on with low beams all the time). ![]() and I'm wonderig if JDM projectors counts with that or not... P.S.: I have used picture from DSRT-FX's profile. Thank you for detail shot ![]() This post has been edited by malpaso: Jul 18, 2006 - 9:15 AM -------------------- No more replicas... yup they are parking light bulbs. still using the 194 bulb although with the different wiring harness. i didnt hook them up as they are hard to get to and i wanted the look of the narrow beam hid's without the outer parking lights. -R

But just found out recently, a very small trick to the bulbs stand(not sure it's a right word for that thing) in plastic and grey in color that come with the projector set, check out the follow pics. ![]() Check out the red arrow, that's the only "obstacle" to fit for most other Plugs of other cars, at least for TOYOTA. What you need to do is, shave that "obstacle", after that you will find it's very easy to fit for all other "bulbs stand" and harness. What you need to do is a "Cutter" or other tools to shave that, and of course you still need to goto junkyard or part shop to get the plug and harness. you still won't be able to fit that in with that modification. if that is the true wiring harness for the jdm projector low beam (parking lights), you dont have to modify it. the problem is that wiring harness pictured above won't fit the factory wiring harness from the non-projector low beam. you need to modify this part to that harness. although using the factory wiring harness from the non-projector low beam don't fit the projector low beam socket either. its confusing hope i didnt confuse anyone -R

the easiest way ive found (for us in the USA anyway..lol) is to go to your local junkyard, look for a 5th gen, and cut the 194 connectors outta a 5th gen celicas front corner lights.
then just trim off the nubs, and splice into your sidemarkers for power. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

I just went to O'reillys and bought a 4 peices of wiring with little sliders. Slid the sliders into the little metal peices in the (194 park light housing) and used a type of epoxy, or silicone to keep them together then wired them into my park lights. works very well and a good $1.00 spent lol.
