That would be good if we could get a few of us out at least.

You mentioned that you posted this on celicatech, do you have a link to that thread?

Well it doesn't seem like there is too much interest. We will be lucky to get 4 cars out!

Anyways, know of a good place we should meet. Any that might have a half decent background for pictures?

Sait is on 16th ave NW between 14th street and 10th street. Access from 14th street by SEARS or 10th street half way up the hill (by the LRT bridge over 10th street).

That is what outsider posted on the celicatech thread. I can't offer you anything further as I have not been there myself.

Here is a map of SAIT that I found. Is the overflow parking lot labeled P1?

Well we had our big turn out with 3 people, oh well its still a meet!

From left to right, Outsider, WALKER, 6gsillyca.

The meet didn't last too long, we just looked at a few things on each others cars mostly looking at Outsider's BEAMS engine. What a nice looking engine that sounds even better! It was a good meet since we got to meet some of the local 6GC enthusiasts.

6gsillyca had to go to work so Outsider and I went on a little road trip to the mountains in search of some fun winding roads and a possible photo op.

The drive was very relaxing with gorgeous scenery on a nice hot sunny day!

It involved us going across some bridges...

...but it allowed for some rather nice pictures.

Thanks, I like to keep things "low-key".

This was the car's first highway run on the new drivetrain. I hope I don't get a ticket from the launch we did at the first lights coming back into town.(At the last second we saw phot-radar parked at the corner.... ).

As for the performance, Walker seemed to have no troubles matching me until I hit about 3500rpm. I noticed that I have to keep an eye on myself now. I ALWAYS have to slow down. The new motor wants to GO.....I am slowly pushing the top end up as I test things out. The speedo goes to 245km/hr and I have been to about 180 so far. I had the speedo pegged a few times with the old motor. It was an effort to get it there and this new motor seems to want to live in that range.

Outsider, are you on stock suspension? it seems like the front is a little lower than it should be. could the weight of the Beams engine be causing this? i didn't think it would be that much heavier, if not lighter, than the 5sfe.

I have Eibach Pro-Kit springs.
It's dropped about 1 inch in the front and about 1 1/2 inches in the rear.
