There's even a TRD body kit for the Cavalier in some of the older TRD Japan catalogs. But yeah, this is kinda old news though I had not seen a "real" one before.

I almost became the owner of this Cavalier, not exactly this car, before I owned my VERT.
There is only few of this existing in Hong Kong, A/T with 2.4 litres engine, maybe a Camry engine but not sure. I saw one in the junkyard as well. No parts for modification or for repair, if anything goes wrong;order parts from JAPAN is a must. Yeap, what I heard is some sort of crossover between TOYO & CHEVY. Althougt it's not good looking, imagine you shave the emblem with this unidentified object, for sure no one would think about this is a TOYOTA, that's fun. But......Celica VERT is my cup of tea. Well the cavalier is a Toyota design. Chevy made a deal with them to sell the cavailier in the states under the Chevy name, and under Toyota elsewhere. Toyota and Chevy still work together today. They formed a joint venture back in 1984 in Fremont California. It is known as NUMMI (New United Motor Manufacturing Inc.). NUMMI makes the Corolla, Tacoma, and the Pontiac Vibe. wow.. i did learn something from toyota school after all haha, even though its useless information

Well some toyotas and GM use a lot of the same parts made by nippondenso. But there were some differences in the actual cars. Like the corolla and nova were the same car, and then corolla and prizm were the same. But they had minor differences like.. the alternator was slightly different, and the corollas A/C system used reciever dryers, and the Prism used accumulators instead. <---more useless information

Well what i heard was Toyota was going to buy GM completely. Toyota sells a lot of cars, but they are still not #1. They are #2 right behind Honda, But only by around 200,000 cars. So it's pretty close.
