I have to replace all three of my climate control bulbs. I have the part number from the how-to, but does anyone know of another place to get them besides a dealer? Anyone remember what they cost?

you'll need to get new bulbs from your Toyota dealer. The part number is 84999-70007, and the entire unit uses three of them.

there probably under $5 for 3, but maybe a little more since dealer is a rip. try an autoparts store. but your probably best off just getting em from the dealer

84999-70007 - this is the Toyota part number right? does any one know what
size of bulbs they are (194, 168, etc) or are they proprietary to toyota?

Well, to let people know, it certainly is proprietary:

I'd think you'd have a hard time finding something that would work. The contacts are on the bulb side of the holder, which twists to lock. Anyways, dealers are pricing them at $7 to $9 EACH. What a frigging ripoff.

well, if the bulbs are out you can still use the bases!

buy some num74 leds at autolumination.com (or somewhere else that sells them)
then, check out this little diagram i made. and convert them to leds (remember about polarity on leds)
