Hey guys, I'm losing my 6gc virginity now so bear with me... I REALLY want some new door panels, seats, and carpet... I just bought my celi at the end of May and the past user didn't really keep it clean...Anyone have any ideas? And I also want to know about climate control stickers (in white if possible) and the piece on an automatic that keeps the colored plastic in line with the shifter just broke, so now I can see straight down from my shifter and its not pretty. I would post pics but it's getting painted kindasad.gif If anyone could help I'd REALLY appreciated it! I almost forgot, I'm not sure if this is common to all 6th gen verts, but my trunk won't open unless I'm standing there lifting it either with the key turned to the side or someone else holding the trunk release lever. Is that normal or is it supposed to pop like most other cars?

hmm your trunk sounds like its sticking. It doesn't really popup at all, but it should go up just enough for you to open it. Maybe it could be the trunk lift shocks?

Thanks, I'll look at them when I FINALLY get it back from painting. They are squeling anyway, do you know where I can get more?

the trunk issue happens to coupes and verts alot. i had a spoiler on my old coupe, which made the trunk too heavy to "pop". if you look at the geometry of the struts, you can see that they're not really in the best place to help out...practically right underneath the inside panel of the decklid and pretty much parallel. try lubing the pivots and sliders on the decklid, or maybe get new struts. hope that's reassuring if not helpful!
