Here is my educated response: Complaints regarding this matter are silly and sound very whiney in the grand scheme of things...In the end, the administrator and mods can do what they want because they run the site. If I don't like it after raising the matter calmly and professionally, I could either: (a) drop it; (b) leave; or © cry or bitch about it. I happen to believe that there is no honor in the third choice.

she makes a valid point. If u didnt want EVERYONE (because it does seem like everyone thats visiting the site is headed straight to this thread) to comment, and give there opinions, then u shouldnt have started this whole thing, by calling out Jeff, and Manny, and saying they have "double standards" and are "elitists"

(not saying ryan said ne of this specificly, im not trying to put words in his mouth, i just honestly believe that it was brought up/ went about was/is a very poor way of doing it, it makes the entire site look bad.)

every one has opinions of what is ok, and what is not, I think the mods on here are doing a good job. its just a matter of opinion, and in the end theres is what matters so who cares, if your topic gets closed or deleted ask them why and then ask what you can change to make it ok, just be nice about it and follow the rules.

he had a concern with the website. this is the proper forum. sometimes PMs and what not are not enough. plus this way, others get to offer opinions. and guess what, it DOES matter what people think about how this website is run.

not saying it will change anything. but hey, if you don't care about pleasing people, and you don't think their opinions matter, then you shouldn't be part of a public community. that's why people's opinions about the management really matters.

Plus they dont have to give you a reason they do something so putting it in the open shows that its something that needs attention and kinda puts some force upon them to address the issue at hand.

Im a mod on a site and i make it a point to reply to someone who has an issue with a deletion or lock I made. I can not personally stand when something of mine is deleted or action is taken against me and I am not given answers.

bravo. i honestly believe this is a fair/reasonable answer.

what i think is good about this, is that the threads been open for something close to 3 days, were getting to a point where were just beating a dead horse. Also by saying it will be close by 6PM est, it gives people to give there final arguments/plees/whatever ud like to call them.

IMO i believe that Jeff made the best decision for this situation

I think there needs to be some changes. Everyone knows that. If you don't know that, you are dumb. I don't attack often, but I will now. To say this place is perfect is stupid. It's good, and it'll have to get a good bit worse before I leave. I'm getting angry at the way some of this seems to be like talking to a wall. I know it's beating that dead horse, but one more crack at it lets people know, this horse needs to be prepped and buried. Let’s fix this issue guys. Everyone stop lying to themselves, trying to be things that they aren't, and making attacks and accusing remarks simply to make yourself look cool or belittle others.

One suggestion before the lock. If nothing else changes, will you at least provide a reason for the lock/deletion and add it to the forum rules if it's not already there... That will eliminate some of the "gray area" that was mentioned before.

I like this idea, I'm all for that. This would definately help eliminate some of the confusion.
We'll see what Coomer wants to do.
