lol...ok, I guess I'm really bored, but it's all bufferdan's fault, I swear!

I never knew how difficult it could be to photograph this place...

I'm living with my boyfriend and his mom...it's really her house, she and her ex husband built it themselves, I think that rocks!!! biggrin.gif

The driveway. You can see that it's a little trecherous...a good reason not to lower my Celi.

further in, my Celi is peeking out...tongue.gif
IPB Image

My two cars...gotta sell the blue one, I broke the bank for the Celi smile.gif

the doghouse behind the Nova:

Our dog, Lady:

Stairs going down to the house from the cars:
IPB Image

I swear its way too hard to photograph this house...so here's half, tongue.gif
IPB Image

Veiw from the balcony:
IPB Image

Yard and jungle below the balcony, there's a trail somewhere in there that leads down to the beach:
IPB Image

The part of the balcony I'm not standing on...

Part of our bedroom with the window that looks down on the beach...

Is there only that one entryway to the house like you've shown in the pics?
Sweet crib! How long have you been living there with your b/f and his mom?
How much would property like that cost there? If you don't mind me asking. smile.gif

yeah, that's the only entryway...and that's how most entryways are here because the island is all hill. You should see us shuffling our cars back and forth so that we park in a way that we can all leave when we want, lol. That rectangle of concrete off to the left is bigger than it looks, it can hold 3 vehicles side-by-side, so we're usually not off too bad...I just parked the blue car in the back because I don't use it now...

Most people here build their house (you can buy the land). I'm not sure how much they spent building that house, because they built it in stages over a few years, but my boyfriend's boss has a totally awesome place that really makes me feel like I'm in a small mansion, and he said it cost 250,000 to build...

places with a view are expensive, but I've seen places like our house or nicer for 450k.

Oh, and I'm only living with them this summer smile.gif Normally I live in the dorms at the University of the Virgin Islands on the other side of the island. (20 min drive, lol)

You are all very much welcome to come here and stay with me whenever you wish biggrin.gif (a thank you for all your help thus far? lol) My mom owns a few houses and rents them out...so as long as you let me know ahead of time, I can make sure that she keeps one empty for us tongue.gif

I moved here halfway through high school, my mom was born and raised here and decided 4 years back while we were living in Low Angeles that we'd be better off away from the city and isolated on an island kindasad.gif so we wound up here. I got a scholarship to the local college at the end of my senior year, and since I had no money, decided to use it, so I'm studying English and Secondary Education. I may or may not stay on island after I graduate...I'm really not sure yet...there's days where I love it, like on a clear day when I see that veiw, and days where I hate it, like when there are NO parts for my cars on island and I HAVE to pay for insane shipping for them! lol

So there's my late teen life in a nutshell. I'll see if I can find better angles for pics of the house wink.gif

Yeah, it's usually crowded but it's off season right now (hurricane season) and also it was kinda rainy the day I took that pic.

The island in the backround is Hans Lollick...unpopulated, great snorkeling if you have a boat to get there. If the pic was wider you would see St. John and Tortola to the right.

Tickets are cheap until November because of hurricane season, but watch the weather reports to make sure nothing's heading this way. In December tickets are insanely pricy because it's on-season for tourism (everone wants to be somewhere warm in the winter.)

...let me know! smile.gif
