What's the point of threads like these? Is it really that shocking nowadays when gay people get married? So a washed-up popstar turns out to be gay..... whoopdy friggin doo.

actually its not old news...we live in a time that its still not acceptable for people to come out who are famous. Its very dangerous for celebrities to do so because they can lose their jobs just like how just some average Joe can because he comes out.

I'm so sick of it. Can't we all just accept that we're different and because of that, we're all not really that different? (does that make sense?) for the record, i dont have a problem with anyone being gay. one of my really good friends is very gay, and is probably one of the coolest people ive ever met. i honestly dont care if people are gay or straight.

understandable.
the word "gay" wil continue to have a negative connotation, though. (i.e. "that's so gay," "are you gay?" "why are you acting so gay?" ~sigh~ not much we can do, unless you know how to change the world!
