actually its not old news...we live in a time that its still not acceptable for people to come out who are famous. Its very dangerous for celebrities to do so because they can lose their jobs just like how just some average Joe can because he comes out.

ugh, this world sucks. Why can't people just accept that no, we are not clones, we are not all the same, so we are not all heterosexual?

It's so sad that it's such a big deal when GUYS come out...of a girl says she's a lesbian (or praise the lord Angelina Jolie admitted that she's bisexual)...then it's a big deal in a different way...it makes them more attractive. I'm so sick of it. Can't we all just accept that we're different and because of that, we're all not really that different? (does that make sense?)

What I'm saying is, we're all similar to each other in that each of us is unique (kinda like our cars! woohoo!)

that's my rant

um... you know why? at least i think this is a part of it. because all of those people lied to everyone and tried to fool us by singing about girls and shoot music videos that try to trick us into thinking they are straight and that we should buy into the product (music) they are selling. take lance bass for example. the guy made a whole career singing love songs about girls. if he tries to do it again, no one will buy it because they will know that its even more fake then it was before. it really has nothing to do about being gay or straight. it has everything to do with being honest. hell if we can accept a 6ft tall drag queen named ru-paul. then i dont think tha world is that bad.

for the record, i dont have a problem with anyone being gay. one of my really good friends is very gay, and is probably one of the coolest people ive ever met. i honestly dont care if people are gay or straight.

but i do have a problem when people pretend to be something they are not in order to make money off of people.

understandable.

the word "gay" wil continue to have a negative connotation, though. (i.e. "that's so gay," "are you gay?" "why are you acting so gay?"

~sigh~

not much we can do, unless you know how to change the world! tongue.gif

Its funny, every topic is the same. Someone makes a thread and we have 12 other people say how stupid the thread is, or its a waste of space or its old news.

Way to care way to much about the internet.
