Is this car ever going to be finished? Everytime i check on it (which is frequent since its such a badass car) its suppose to be ready the next day, and then its not going to be done until the next day and so on. Tell these guys at the shop to hurry up, ive never seen a job take so long.

Looks good though.

Yea i know. Trust me its frustrading. My car isn't the most important thing in his shop. His company is semi's not cars. So whever a semi job opens he has to work on that or he looses business. I'm the first car in my town that he is working on. And he's wanting to make sure that he is getting everything done perfectly. So i don't blame him. I'm just happy i'm getting it done right the first time.

Nah, I like my side markers. Without them it looks to bear in the front. I shaved the things in the back because everything was all crouded looking specially the antenna with the 2-post with blocks. I didn't shave a lot of things that i could of because i don't want it to look completly show i just wanted to make some parts look sleek. Like the back and still leave a lot of the stock stuff there.

Went to the bodyshop today and got a few more new pics.
Here is a pic of the rear lip that he decided to mold to the rear bumper,
A pic of my hood primed. And also a pic of the 2-post with blocks.

ENJOY!

One thing im really worried - you gonna respray whole car - and you AINT CUT YOUR Rear Side windows???? Man - after repaint - give it a half year and you will have clear coat chipping all around them!!! THIS IS the rule everyone HAS to folow then you respraying fully - Plastic around rear windows is hard / not posible to lift it up - this means DUST and all the other $hit will be left there in the gap, and also unprepared surface - paint and clear coat wount stick there and after respray - once the masking tape around this area will be lifted is about 80% out of 100 that along with the masking tape it will lift some parts of clear... Its not too hard to just cut and reglue them. And you would have propertly made job.

Everything else look really good...

I'm just letting him do what he wants to do with paint. If it peels he paints it again for free. I have a 3 year warrenty on this paint. Thats the only reason i went to this guy.

Well its your choise - if it peels - you will be Celica less and get the car painted again and again? instead of just letting him know what i said - and cutting side windows out? Well its your choiise biggrin.gif

Well im pretty sure he knows what he's doing. He's a professional bodyman. Plus he has two vehicals of his own that are custome bodykitted and custom painted. Were painted 2 years ago and paints perfect. So i'm pretty sure it will be done right.
