So I have my fog lights in front of my bumper... sitting there. We can't find out how to bolt them in, because it doesn't seem like there is a place to do so. Can SOMEONE with the OEM fogs get a picture of where to mount them? Thanks! biggrin.gif

You do not need to take the bumper off to mount these. If you poke your head down there, you'll find threaded bolt holes -- just mount them up! It is a little hard b/c of the clearance etc...just take your time.

Sorry, i do not have any pics.

edit: bolt holes are in the crash bar.

Do you have the brackets with your fog lights? when i got mine, they had the bracket included with the lights so it was just a matter of bolting the brackets in the right spot. On each side of the front bar there are two bolt holes, one you can see easily, and one that you have to shove your head up under the bar to see. When i mounted mine i jacked the car up, removed the panels under the engine and bolted it in.. it took me a couple of hours and alot of swearing before i managed to get them in however.. depending on your flexibility or determination, it might be worth removing the front bar to do it.. i dunno how easy it is to do that tho.

I have uploaded a few photos that may help to my site. let me know if you need more and i'll see what i can do

Yeah I have brackets and all. After I posted I went back out and found them. The obvious one that is out in the open was easy to spot, but my question was about the other one. The one that is crammed away. I took out my turn signal and found it that way, but I dont have the bolts to bolt it in. Basically I pulled back the plastic brush guard stuff underneath, took out the turn signal, and spotted the hole that way. Now I have to figure out how to get a screw back there. I don't have what you would call "nimble hands". I did, however manage to cut the bottom side of my nose on the bottom edge of the bumper lip. That was fun, let me tell you!
Anyone got the bolt info for the fog light brackets? I used one from the plastic guard which threaded up there, but it needs some more washers to secure it.
I also have no way to wire them. I have old PIAA's that I am to be taking out, but the connectors don't mate up (suprise). So I need to go to the stealership and get the connectors I guess and wire them up.

Tell me about it, i shredded my hands something fierce while getting the bolts in to those hidden holes.... I couldnt be buggered mucking around with working out the right bolt size, so i just went to Mr T and got the proper bolts for the assembly, cost me AU $1.25 per bolt (comes with the washer), which admittedly is exy for a single bolt, but i didnt have to guess the size at least.

I have all of this, minus the screw that bolts the bracket to the crash bar, but where am I to get the piece that plugs into the connector? (spot is circled)

Our USDM celica's (94-95) do not have connectors for fogs. I just bought a wiring kit from the auto store to wire them. As far as the bolt, i went to the hardware store and bought the right size etc -- went through a few bolts...lol.

So.. hack off that connector and splice the wires? I can do that. I ended up getting very pissed at the bumper and took a dremel to it. Got the fog lights in though! I will post a picture up either later tonight or tomorrow, because I have to unbolt my old ones. I currently have 2 sets of fog lights in the grill. Very busy looking.

Not much in syaing this now (since you already installed them), but yeah, as was said previously, it will be a hell of an easier job if you remove the front bumper. I know its a pain but... anyways.

Woot! for ST202 fog lights! woot.gif

Yeah basically -- I just cut off the connectors, and wired/soldered/shrieked wrapped them.

x2 on the st202 fogs -- wooooot! biggrin.gif

I have a 94 GT. The owner before me had fogs put in where the grill is. They work, which is not the problem. But I was wondering if I can put a bumper from a 96+ that came with fogs in them on my 94? And if I can, since I already have the wiring, can I just connect the wiring to the fogs in the other bumper?

^^ yes ! if your current fogs are working just remove them with your old bumper, install the new one and the matching fogs, all you need is to conect the plug to your existing wiring and then plug them to your new fogs. very easy.

Any idea how much a 96+ bumper costs? And is there any mods I would need to do to make it fit, or will it go right on? Sorry for all the questions

If they are the OEM fog lights for a 94-95 bumper then they will not fit the 96+ bumper. You would have to buy the 96+ fog lights for that.

I will TRY and get a new picture up. I have yet to wire them, as I have been busy with work and school, but they are bolted in. I will also get a shot of how dremel happy I got tongue.gif

I think he meant the bumper, if that's what you're asking the 96+ bumper is a direct bolt on no mods needed but your fogs won't fit as 95celicaST said you'll need the 96+ fogs as well.

The bracket of the fog and the shape of the fog are different but the plugs and harnesses are extactly the same, once the fog fix and mount, then just plug and play.
