that is a left side ST M/T mount.
just some info about 6 gen mounts... the ST and GT rear mount is the same, No difference, same part # ![]() the ST and GT front mount are 99% the same...the only difference is the GT has a base under it (where it bolts to the crossmember) and the ST does not. Kinda difficult to explain but the inners (rubber bushings and top of the mounts) are the exact same ![]() the side mounts are very different from ST to GT ![]() ![]() nice job Art edit : new development - these inserts will fit manual Celicas perfectly (ST and GT). For any A/T Celica, the rear mount rubber inner is different and will not fit (the front is fine). This post has been edited by Batman722: Sep 4, 2006 - 11:49 PM -------------------- |

you guys, i filled my mounts with the poly-urethane that is commonly used to 'glue' windshields onto the car..... it works and has perfectly for well over 3 years now.
it is maybe a little ghetto doing it that way, but it works. those red inserts do look pretty damned cool! -------------------- Toyo'd, Eibach'd, Kayaba'd & BEAMS'd :D

just a tip when you guys go to install these. the factory inserts havea paper thin rubber that covers part of the inside of the mount. you will have to cut this area out with a knife (on your oem mounts) for the inserts to mate up correctly. most of the time, when you have old mounts, this thin layer wears away on its own, but if your still happens to somehow have it, just cut it out.
if anyone is confused.... youll know what im talking about when you go to install these. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

1. jack up the car, and place it onto 2 good jack stands.
2. grap a 10m socket start to unbolt the engine plastics from the crossmember. you dont have to completely take everything out, but just enough to swing out of the way so that you can work on the mounts 3. have a look around. youll notice that the front and rear mounts rest on the crossmember (long under support bar that goes from the front to back, under the motor). 4. get under the car and start on the rear mount 1st. remove the 17m bolt that goes through the center of the motor mount. 5. remove the 2 bolts and 1 nut (14m) that connect the rear motor mount to the crossmember. youll have to remove a small, black, plastic cover to access these bolts. 6. the rear mount should now be loose, but you will not be able to totall take out out... yet... 7. grab your jack and place a piece of wood on it (wood IS important). place the jack under the oil pan of the motor and jack it up a little bit. this is just for safety, to secure the motor as you work under it. 8. now it time to unbolt the front mount. remove the 17m bolt goes through the motor mount. you will need to do this with 2 wrenches because it connected with a nut and bolt, and will just spin on your if you dont use go at it from both sides. 9. remove the 2 14m bolts that bolt the motor mount to the crossmember. you will have to remove the little plastic cover to access these. 10. take a look at the crossmember again. youll notice it bolts to the front of the car frame with 2 12m bolts. unbolt them and the cross member will be totally loose 11. crawl under the car again. you will have to wiggle and move the rear mount in just the right angle to get the cross member to come out. its a bit of a pain and takes a bit of time, but it will come out. 12. now your motor mounts will be totally out. take your new inserts and "slap them in place" (watch the mr2 vid if u dont know what i mean). 13. now start to put everything back just like you got it out. start off by sliding the crossmember in with the rear motor mount and make sure it all lines up . like before, this will be a bit of a pain, but not to bad. you just have to find the right angle. ... then put everything back togher and your all done. Tips: 1. torque the motor mounts at 54lb to the crossmember on the 14m bolts, and 65lb on the 17m bolts 2. if you have trouble putting the 17m bolt through the rear motor mount, chances are its because your motor shifted a little. take your jack and place it under the tranny. start to slowly jack it up and look through your wheel well (side of the car) and watch that bolt hole as it lines up better and better as you jack the tranny up. With those you have to modify your mount by removing the rubber, so the process is irreversible. With the inserts you could remove them if you decided you didn't want them anymore and go back to stock mounts. Plus I don't think Speed Source makes them for the 6th gen Celica.
