They should fit both, unless you have a strange mount like the one in one of the previous posts.

it isn't strange, it is an AUTO tranny rear mount. If you want I can take side by side pics of the 2, I have them here in front of me. The inner rubbers are different.

Couldn't you cut the rubber to match the insert or atleast get damn close? I really hope so BOTH my mounts are screwed on my AT 94.

I should have my inserts today. I'll be testing how to fit the AT rear mount this week at the shop. I figure just chop the old rubber to fit the insert and that way keep the most new stuff as possible.

I might get around to installing mine tomorrow... yes, I know I've had them well over a month now... my friend (whom I'd have to borrow the jack and jackstands from) seems really reluctant to help me with this. he's scared the engine will fall out or something, and thinks that jacking up the oil pan is a bad idea... so I'm going to take these to my automotive class tomorrow and maybe my teacher will help me install them (with a proper vehicle lift and everything! lol)

now, I'm just guessing here, correct me if I'm wrong, but the wider inserts are for the rear, and the skinnier inserts are for the front mounts, right?

ok... who said this was supposed to be easy??? I just finished spending over 8 hours trying to get these in... and they STILL are not in! the hard part was getting the rear mount out. eventually I got it out (after completely removing the crossmember) slapped the inserts in (I agree that this part was easy tongue.gif ) and tried putting it back in... no luck yet. the front mount was pretty easy to do though.

tomorrows goal: get the rear mount in, get the crossmember in, get it all back together and drivable... all in under 5 hours before I have to go to work. but my dad agreed to help me tomorrow. so I'm hoping we can get it done... jeez, these better be worth it tongue.gif

13. now start to put everything back just like you got it out. start off by sliding the crossmember in with the rear motor mount and make sure it all lines up . like before, this will be a bit of a pain, but not to bad. you just have to find the right angle. ... then put everything back togher and your all done.

wtf! how on earth does this go back together! I cannot get the rear mount and crossmember back into place! the screws sticking out of the bottom of the rear mount are too long. the mount is like 6 inches top to bottom including the screws and there is only like 4 inches of space... even less once you put the crossmember in place! I can't see any way of getting the mount back in short of taking out like the entire transmission... can any one help me?

try jacking up the tranny a little bit. It will give you a bit more room to pop the mount back into it's place. I know it sucks a little to get this mount back in...but be strong and put that mutha in it's place.

ok... after 3 days and about 13 hours of work, I still don't have this simple 1-2 hour job done! frown.gif I absolutely cannot figure out how the rear mount and crossmember go back in! I've tried:

putting the crossmember in and trying to wedge the mount on top
putting the mount in and trying to wedge the crossmember in underneath
putting the mount onto the crossmember and try to put them in together from the front, back, and sides
jacking the tranny a lot, and jacking the tranny very little

can anyone tell me EXACTLY what they did to get this in? if I can't get this in within the next couple of days, I may have to tow the car to a mechanic and get severly overcharged for it. HELP!!!
