rolleyes.gif it's almost that time again, getting new tires, but i was wondering, it is going to be okay if i replace my rear tires with the tire size 225/55WR/17 and in the front ( or eventhe tire sixe of 225/50WR/17); would those sizes be fittable or would they not fit at all on rim sixe 17's...and if they do fit, how would they look like, anyone with these tire sizes on? i want tires that will have more width for better grip on the road and a nice clean look on the celi...like the looks on the BMWs....with size 17's rims...any help? smile.gif (tires will be low profiles)

55 sidewall is not exactly low profile. The overall circumfrance of the 225/55/17 is also going to be much bigger and hurt accelleration a bit and give you slightly different gearing. I would go with 225/45/17 or 215/45/17 if you are worried about ride comfort (assuming a 7 or 7.5" rim). Good luck.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
