I didn't even use the vacume lines that can with the intake. Actually I think I had to use the place that that hose was intended for to put one of the smaller vacume lines through. I used the cap that covers it up as an adapter. If you need any specific answers then get back to me and I will help you. I know I'm making this sound hard but it isn't>

i put the injen cold air intake on mine i noticed a big dif. on the sound and performance end. if you are going to do it do it right and get the injen. it is $200 on speed people.com and it also looks good under the hood.

The injen intake does look really good under the hood but $200 is alot . Too bad that they aren't a little cheaper. frown.gif

If you want a cheap short ram intake get one off of ebay. Sometimes they'e listed for our cars or for the Corolla, so they're made for the 7afe. They're polished aluminum mandrel bent and some have warranties. You can get the intake and cone filter for $25 using buy it now. I think I'm going to do that. You can also buy polished heat shields on there (looks like the injen heat shield) for $10. They're stainless steel. As always, be careful when shopping on ebay. But if you want to go cheap, might as well get one that's made for your car, and not for the Civic (yuck).

As a rule of thumb i look at the users rating. If the persons a power seller than generally u can trust them. and you can look at the rating the got from people that have bought from them.

I think that I am going to go to an auto store like Autozone or Murray's and buy a couple of exhaust tubing. Then some couplings and hose clamps from Home Depot and create a CAI that will cost way less and maybe create more hp.
