for switching to stock springs again.

i havent done it to my celica yet, but i've done coilovers and lowering springs multiple times on all types of civic's, accord's, integra's, and crx's and never used a spring compressor once...u just need to make sure to aim the top of the shock at a cement/concrete wall (so u dont shoot ur face off) and stand on the spring (so the back doesnt fly away)...but like i said i have never done it on a celica before, if there is need for one does anyone have one or kno where to rent one becuz im switching to teins pretty soon

F that noise. Thats how you get killed lol..... Just go rent on bro. If you want to ghetto rig it just pop the spring off while its still on the car. Just unscrew the center nut and it will pop there.

Just to double check. Fat ones in the front and skinnier ones in the rear, correct?

ooh yeah the 205 engine is way bigger compare to the 185 engine you will have way more room and what not..damn your right block i forgot about the links...just go get after market ones or just get new one they are a hella a pain to take off....

shoot you better show me your set-up. I didn't get a clip. I got a motor set instead. It came with everything I need for the swap except for the fuel pump rely. I can do without that though.

ahh man i keep on forgetting to tell u to get motor mounts too the stock ones are not going to hold up if u push it too much...fuel pump is a must fullblown has them for pretty cheap and your going to want to get slotted or cross drill brake rotors too.. mines are getting warped from going too fast and tryin to do dead stops hahaha

No, I already have the 255lph fuel fump. I was talking about the fuel pump relay that attatches onto the ecu. I'll upgrade my brakes if my car is running right. And I already did the poly mounts from kirkosaurous. Will they be okay?

BTW joe check out the forced induction thread lol....

the springs just take a little longer when you dont have a compressor. the fronts suck but the rears are easy if the links go okay. only took 2 hours to put them in when i had access to a compressor. double that to take them out without one.

haha i kno i got freaked out everytime i did it...but i have done it this way 9 times (on 7 different cars and 6 diff models, did mine 3 times) for a grand total of 36 shocks and im not dead or missing any eyes or appendages, so at least on 94 accord's, 89 crx's, 98 integra's, and 89, 94, and 96 civics it works without a spring compressor

but like i said never done a celica before..but its the same deal right hex nut and allen wrench on top??? if so i think i should be able to do it the same

Hey John did you have to grind the mount for the 3rd gen?....

"You're going to have to do some grinding on the passenger side engine mount bracket. you have to grind down the hump thats on this bracket in order for it to fit on the 3sgte."
