Yeah, I was doing it up with my 10 speed mountain bike. Those turns are scary. 4 Wheeling is pretty tight though. Just keeping my mind off the transmission right now.

HA HA WTF that was F-ing funny.....off roading can be fun as long as its not 2 in the morning foggy and a big rock doesnt decided to flip your truck ass over face.

Brian, Fo shizzle my nizzle. Let me know. How did you go about painting the hood and bumper anyway? I was wondering if you can help a brotha out, because I am super low on cash now.

my uncle helped me paint them. I got the paint and clear from the parts store and he laid it on. I actually found my paint gun last week so i could probably do it myself once i get a couple things for it. Paint and clear only cost me like 150 after spilling and having to buy another quart of paint. a whole car would take a gallon probably. I can post some pics of it tomorrow probably.

i painted it in one of the turkey barns last time. it was the only one with a tar floor and it was between flocks and was just cleaned the day i did it. I think next time i do it ill do it in my garage or in the back part of the garage where i can make some sort of booth. you gonna go white again?

Yeah I plan too. If I can't find a hell of a deal to paint my car, I'm just going to primer the whole car.

as far as prices go for a quart of 3L2 i had to pay like $30 and to do a whole car id say it would be a gallon. so just color you might be looking at $120 then clear which might be $100 more add some hardener and reducer also some flexible additive and you might hit $350 ish i think. I got Omni paint which is like the low grade version of PPG (actually made by PPG) white is probably cheaper than red also. and since the hood is red it would definately need primer.

the difference between the hood/bumper and the fender is quite a bit. probably not noticable if i take a bad picture but you can tell when you look at it.

umm how bout a set of TRD side skirts and you buy the paint? I honestly want to get some practice in before i do a whole car and especially one that's not mine. Once i get the parts i need for my gun I'll practice up a bit on some of the spare parts i got laying around (prolly gonna do my dash panels too if i get pretty good) my paint right now has quite a bit of orange peel to it and a bunch of dust and crap that i want to get to a minimum before i do a whole car.

speaking of painting...i decided to do thing my way for once and i am painting the MR hot pink and black. I am about done sanding the first part of it still have to go over it again with finer grit but should be shortly...my boy welded up my radiator support that was so aftro rigged from the previous owner and he is doing some fab work on my busted headlight mount....then my boy and i are going to murder her out for now paint her flat black primer and then im going to drive her around like that for a while and then when i put her away for the winter we are going to pull all the glass out and the motor and begin the paint job....he gets a super good deal on paint because he used to work at a parts store. He also has painted 15 cars/trucks so he is going to teach me a thing or 2....i am so excited.

If any of you guys want a really good paint job and you are looking to get as good of a deal as you can my boy will spray it for you he can use the extra cash....just let me know the color and ill ask him. He has 3 barns he can paint the car in...and he has a super nice gun...although we live a grip away from the cities
