QUOTE(Remy @ Apr 6, 2008 - 5:13 PM) Hey all, you guys know any good body shops in MN ?? I decided not to do the body work myself I don't want to mess it up more plus I don't have the right tools to properly paint it, so if you guys know any lmk Thanks. Hamline Auto Body is the ****, great facility, amazing paint matching, etc. list goes on, nothing but great results from there! get a quote first from them, it could be more than you want to spend. -------------------- -Tyler

There really isn't unless you know the mechanic personally or a bodyshop that isn't afraid to do an ass of a job for the money you pay them. I went to so many shops and they all are the same. One of the guy's quote I got was "We only do it one way here and that's the right way.....$1600 take it or leave it....and I've been doing this for 40 years." Good luck with your's.........btw mine goes into the shop tomorrow to get her dents done....they didn't tell me how long it will take, but hopefully by Rockfall's opener. -------------------- |

I really don't want to go 3s. I want to have a bullet proof 5s bottom end with upgraded cams in the head. Well my motor hasn't blown yet, but I will find out more on it tonight when I do the compression check.

The ABRA I went to I heard they do a really good job but in the end the guy told me it could easly pass 2k to get it fixed even though he quoted me 1600....I could just buy another celi with that money....or maybe its time to upgrade.... but I'll look around and see what happens. -------------------- "To Protect And To Serve The Wealthy" -POLICE

Someone did a hit-n-run with my car a couple of weeks ago I had some pics posted in the Exterior area. The only other car I would like to own is a 98 MKIV Supra but I'm no where near that yet....yet. Bodywork is only cheap when someones else's insurance is covering it lol I hate it how I have to pay it out of my own pocket even though it wasn't even my fault. -------------------- "To Protect And To Serve The Wealthy" -POLICE

Did you try an insurance claim? Or just gonna wing it and not let insurance rape you later on? Found out that insurance will cover my windshield too....yeah! Now rolling in a Dodge Magnum SXT.......250 HP and AWD....my rental car till I get my car back.....I was hoping it had more power and a better kick....

Insurance will only cover 1/4 of the bill so it won't help much I have a friend who does some bodywork, will he paint cars lol but he has some knowledge of dent repair too but he works 7 days a week if I can get him to help me I'm just gonna use the 1500 to get painting supplies and respray the car and fill/glass the dent. I'm not worried about the dent repair I was just worried about the color matching but if I go with respraying the whole car I won't have to worry about it then !! You guys want to suggest a good "red" color to paint my car or should I just go with the original 3L2 Red ??

I like the 3L2. It's different red than most reds.
