Im not trying to make anyone here angry, but i would have to agree with brian here. A swap would most definately add OVERALL value to my car (When i say overall i mean just the car, not taking into account the amount put it) Im pretty sure everyone in thier RIGHT mind would know that you NEVER get back what you put in. But i think the argument being stated is that if you have, oh say a 1995 celica GT 5spd, and you want to sell for 5K. Possible yes. But then again say i swapped and it cost me 4k for swap and i wanted to sell my car for 7k. Possible yes. Therefore the overall value of my car has gone up. Do i get back what i put in? No. Do i understand that? yes. There is a simple answer to this topic that is really not the topic of this topic anyways. A swap WILL add value to the car, just not as much as you put in. Easy as that. Now please continue with the thread that is at hand!
