k i found this pic of a 3sgte wiring harness for an mr2/celica. But when i saw it i couldnt believe this was one of the HUGE things one would need to make the swap. So if i need this for my 95 GT, will it just connect right on to my car? Or if its the wiring harness for the mr2 3sgte does it have to be extended??

yes it has to be extended, i ran into this problem. very long process also you need to make 3 plugs fit, otherwise the duel pump and some relays wont work

You gotta extend it if its a JDM harness. Because on jap cars it enters the car on the opposite side, or u can drill a hole wink.gif

I am unsure if the MR2 harness is diferrent, but i kno the ecu is, and ur not going to want to do that. The harness generally comes with the engine, and so does the ecu, if they dont I wouldnt recommend buying it.

This is something I meant to ask about a while ago,,IS there somewheres (possibly someone on here) that makes a wire harness for sale that you can buy to plug and play with a 3sgte and 6th gens. I would rather not get all tied up in wire harness and/or cut my stock one as switch back may happen someday after the inital swap
