By the looks of that box it looks sealed. Looks nice flush and clean like that tho. Def go with a grill if you are gonna be keeping stuff back there with it, otherwise if its gonna be empty wont be needed as much but you never know when your gonna need to throw something back there.

I myself will be going the ported route as ill constantly be sharing the air in the back of my hatch and since I like loud bass and dont mind losing my hearing.

What sub is that btw?

Very nice. What program did you use to design it?

Looks great. I may steal this if you dont mind...The only modifications ill make is to sink the amps down more and throw a plexiglass cover on them with some lights and what not....Do you have the dimensions for everything? (If you dont mind sharing your design)....Ive been wanting to do something similar to try and save trunk space... and yours looks flawless.

Sorry if this is a lame post,
josh.

i can try to find the dimensions when i get home from work tonight, but the box is made for those amps and that sub, if you have some amp and sub dimensions and box volume i might be able to tweak the measurements for you

i dont understand your question...The sub box stays the same, its sealed. If your wanting to plexiglass you can make it removable. Although if its not held down well it will shake with the sub below it.

As far as STu goes, if you can just get me the measurements ill tweak it myself, i dont want you to have to do any of that work. Although it is probable that i will be using the same sub that you have...

well you could do it either way, only if your going to use the plexiglass as a faceplate, your going to have to make sure its properly sealed...I plan on putting the plexiglass on top, and leaving the sub box as it it is with the face plate, maybe you could make a couple cut outs on the sides (below the amps) and throw some "windows" in there. Just a thought.
