Not neccesarily. They just keep the engine cooler which would help it perform better.

I guess in a way it would help, but it wouldnt be too much.

speedholes are not in the hood...scoops and vents are

speed holes are in the rear bumper
http://www.lighterfaster.com/13163.html
see there for CF inserts

they are installed in the rear bumper in order for the air wich swirls up and behind it to escape without causing drag

anser: nope

on fast cars they help reduse drag and alow the car to move though the air with less resistance allowing for a smoother ride and making it easyer to push faster, your better off (for the celica) just making a cover or something similar to the plastic peaces under the motor and front bumper but for the rear. i've though about making plates to cover up all under the car but it adds a lot of weight (even if done in cf) and would not do enough to justify the cost.

creis your talking about flat bottoms right?

increases the air velocity under the car thus creating down force...only practical for someone who road races...it takes decent speeds to make them functional although i've tampered with the idea too

I saw "speed holes" that formed the word "CIVIC" cut out of the rear bumper...the C on the end was crooked too. laugh.gif I believe Dustin has a picture of it.
