Ive seen quite a few mounting spots for the 4 point setup but nothing that seems to safe, if anyone wants to modify my pics with where they should be mounted it would be appeciated.

nothing on the floor... i was thinking a rear strut bar would be the best option cause of the ease of getting one...

i'm goin to make a seat belt BAR that sits between the B-pillar such as those we have seen on other popular cars

well this is where i mounted the two that go across your chest and body the other two in the rear seat bolts
and the good thing is that ou know that the bolts for the rear seatbelts have been engineered to hold down the person in accidents case

If you mount the shoulder straps below the shoulders, in a wreck you'll be compressed. That's why player was saying mount to rear strut tower bar. That's were I will mount mine.

If you are having a hard time with a four point, you can do what i did and go with a three point.

Jaws

yours arn't DOT approved there is only 1 set that are DOT approved that are currently produced
the producer of the DOT approved Schroth

http://www.soloracer.com/schroth.html
they can be found here

you need to have a harness bar made for your car basically it bolts between your "B-pillars" right behind the seat (basicall where your OEM seat belt bolts to the "B-pillar" is where you will bolt in the harness bar)...IT MUST BE NO LOWER THEN 30 DEGREES BELOW YOUR SHOULDERS..it is critical that you understand this concept and follow it..any lower then 30* and spinal compression and severe body injury can occur in a collision..

good luck

What if I mount them to the back seat where those shoulder belt is located? Is that an acceptable method of installing them? I just want to install them so it would be safe but not have to go into putting in the Harness Bar..

thank you player, I just got them installed and I ran them down to where the backseat latch is. it looks to be about 45*. I wanted to run it where the shoulder part was on the back seat, but it would have been above 90* and a lot of sites advise not doing that.

I will try to take some pics soon.
