I won't be swapping for at least a year. I am keeping all the parts it never hurts to have extra a series motors laying around. You never know when you might need something. ![]() I think I am going to just make a riser plate to cover that area, like a really thick gasket made of stainless. The only real problem with this is the studs at the bottom and making them longer isn't as easy as bolts. ![]() -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

I still need to change the insde shape a little but I think it will work.

could you just swap on a manifold to match the cover? the earlier manifolds without EGR look simpler and look like they flow a little better
